Privacy Policy

The short version: LumaSort works entirely on your iPhone. Your photos, videos, contacts, and files never leave your device. We have no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no tracking, and we do not collect, sell, or share personal data.
Who we are
LumaSort is an iOS app that helps you clean up photos, videos, screenshots, saved messaging media, and duplicate contacts. In this policy, "we" means the developer of LumaSort. You can reach us at [email protected].
Data the app works with
To find cleanup opportunities, LumaSort reads the following on your device, only after you grant permission through iOS:
- Photos and videos, to find duplicates, similar shots, screenshots, and large videos, and to save compressed video copies when you ask.
- Contacts, only when you open duplicate contact cleanup, to find and merge duplicates you choose.
- Files you import, such as media saved from messaging apps, only when you select them.
All analysis happens on your device. None of this content is uploaded to us or to any third party. Nothing is deleted or merged until you review it and confirm.
Data we collect
None. LumaSort has no user accounts and no servers that receive your data. The app contains no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs. The app stores a few settings and usage counters (for example, how many free cleanups you used today) locally on your device so it can work; these never leave your iPhone.
Purchases
LumaSort Premium is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment and handles your billing details under Apple's Privacy Policy. We never see your name, Apple ID, or payment information. The app checks your Premium status with Apple's StoreKit on your device.
Permissions
You can grant, limit, or revoke Photos and Contacts access at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security. If you revoke access, the related features stop working, but nothing else is affected.
Our website
This website does not use cookies or analytics. Like any website, our hosting and security providers (Amazon Web Services and Cloudflare) may process technical data such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect against abuse. If you email us, for example to request a TestFlight invite, we use your email address only to reply and delete it when it is no longer needed.
Children
LumaSort does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Your rights
Because we do not collect or store personal data, there is usually nothing for us to access, correct, or delete. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, or you have any privacy question, write to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update it on this page and change the effective date above. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
